The president is responsible for the overall management and operations of the Club including all the projects, activities, fundraising and meetings.
Tony still enjoys his work organising and managing property syndicates for investors He also enjoys golf, films, food and wine.
Tricia joined Rotary soon after moving to Woodend in 2017. She has immersed herself into the community and is co- founder of the Woodend Warblers community choir.
Mike a keen mountain bike rider and loves the trails and forests of the Woodend area. And he’s actively involved in charity work for those caring for family members with a mental illness.
John has been a Rotarian since 1990 and been a member of the Perth, Swan Valley, Brighton and Calne (UK) clubs. He has been a member, and Treasurer, of the Woodend Club since 2014. He has recently retired (for the third time!) and spends his time managing his Macedon garden and working with several community groups, when he is not travelling.
I’ve been in Rotary since late 2007 and in that time I have gained a lot of understanding that the world is a better place for having an organisation, such as Rotary International, still active in this day and age.
I hope with my contribution and involvement at club level and beyond, I will make a difference in someone’s life.
As a retiree, my wife Shirley and I have been conducting business training workshops in the Pacific Islands over the last 9 years including 5 years working with the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce to deliver training in business planning to disadvantaged and those with low levels of education.
Rosemary’s day job is a Human Resources Manager, and she enjoys reading, swimming and experimenting with new recipes on her friends.
Made a sea change to a tree change when moved from Warrnambool to Woodend and love being involved with the local community. Gardening is a special interest and regularly work at the Woodend Community Garden. Continue to work in the water industry assisting with projects associated with customer contact.
Grant joined the Woodend Rotary, District 9800 in Victoria in 2004. He’s been club President (2007-8 & 2015-16) and various board positions. Also Community Chair, Assistant Governor and supported facilitation of New Members seminars, Club Visioning and RLI.
Employed as a Clinical Manager with Ambulance Victoria he was awarded an Ambulance Service Medal in the 2014 Australia Day Honours, and the National Stroke Foundation Presidents Award in 2018.
Married to Melissa and with 3 adult sons, Grant keeps very busy with family, bushwalking & travel.
